About
Wether its a simple doodle of your favorite character or an illustration of your favorite cursed family photo, every one of my works is influenced by my experiences, interests and skills Ive picked up over the last 30-some years. Classically trained, Ive always enjoyed both traditional and digital art and have spent over ten years experimenting with both to create unique mixed media images. I have also spent more than half my life creating characters and their stories, with an emphasis on atmosphere, inner monologue and symbolism.I believe that everyone should have access to art, something that historically has not been available to the masses, which is why I offer my “doodle” option for my clients. While it is not nearly as polished as a fully rendered illustration, I remember the joy I have felt being able to scrape together enough money for a tiny sketch of my original character and how happy I was when I received it. For many art of any form is seen as unobtainable- especially something custom. It is my hope that by giving this option those who wish to acquire artwork may have that option.

How the Process Works
Submitting a Pitch
Once a pitch is submitted please allow 5-7 business days1 to wait to hear back from me about your proposal. If your pitch is approved I will reach out with a google form for you to fill out for me. (See Ironing-Out Details)If your pitch was turned down it was most likely because it ether;
[A] Goes against my TOS,
[B] I am not accepting any more commissions at this time, and/or
[C] the subject of your request is not something I am interested in drawing at this time.NOTE [1]: Please double check the sites homepage or my social medias for commission status before submitting. If I receive a pitch while they are closed I will generally not reply even if it does interest me.
Ironing-Out Details
If more information or references are required I will directly contact the interested client (whose commission I am taking on) and discuss what needs to be sent to me or what I may have to research/design.2 If further resources are not needed I will skip this step and instead send an invoice to the paypal email provided.NOTE [2]: Research (as mentioned in my TOS) is any additional googling/sloothing required to create your commissioned work. While I do enjoy research, and will do the best I can to find whatever references I may need, the client should be providing the bulk end of whatever information/visuals I need to work off of. In the case that additional research is needed a flat rate fee of $5 for every 15 minutes of research will be added to the order. This charge will be discussed if needed.
Creating an Invoice
All invoices will have a breakdown of the order the client submitted / agreed upon. This includes all add ons, additional design charges, any rush fees, shipping fees, and tax. A copy of my TOS will also be attached, along with any notes regarding the commission.-- Buyers will have 36 hours to pay the invoice in full. Payment plans on orders over $200 USD (before tax) may be eligible for split payment. If the invoice is not fulfilled the order will be canceled.-- If you do not agree with something on the invoice you must also contact me within 36 hours. I generally will allow 3-5 business days for negations.NOTE: Should a buyer not be able to meet the payment deadline due to complications they are encouraged to tell me as soon as possible. If you know this before you submit your order (ex: you will be in a cabin with no service) please let me know in your pitch.
Your Order
Depending on how large your order is, or how complex, determines how many times I will be in contact with you during the commission process. Generally I will reach out during each stage of the creative process (concept > lines > final) unless told otherwise. Artwork that requires concepts or thumbnails with only get 2-3 with one rework of the buyers choice before any additional fees. Once there is an agreed upon concept I will go from there- ether showing the sketch stage (reserved for complex designs, detailed illustrations ect) or the lines stage for less complicated works (ex: most standard fair or simple character sheets).NOTE: How many times we meet up will be mentioned in the Invoice. This is ether by my recommendation or based off anything we discussed prior.
Delivery
Your order has arrived! For commissions that require it, a low-res file will be sent for approval via your email. Once I am given an OK you will receive a 300dpi version of the file. (Doodles and Chibis are generally sent as is, unless specified.) If additional changes are needed please tell me ASAP! Anything larger than a minor change/alteration will need to be paid for before added/worked on.NOTE: Please save all files! Due to the nature of computers and cloud services I can not guarantee that I will always have copies of the original works in my posession.
